Jessica

Jessica

Registered Veterinary Technician

  • Read Bio

Jessica was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario, and has lived in Kitchener, Ontario for the last 14 years. She recently made the move to Trail, BC to be closer to family. She graduated from the University of Guelph, Ridgetown in 2010, and was a recipient of the Biondi Veterinary Technology Scholarship. Jessica has always had a passion for animals and would volunteer with animals at every opportunity given. After her high school co-op, she found her calling to become a veterinary technician and has been working in veterinary hospitals ever since.

You can find Jess in all areas at the hospital, but as a registered veterinary technician, she is mostly assisting with patient care, anaesthetic procedures and in-house diagnostic testing. When looking for employment, our clinic philosophy of, “We treat every client as though they were family and every pet as if they were our own”, really resonated with her as she is always striving for improvement and excellence.

Jess has 3 dogs; Petrol, a 12-year-old Pug/Papillion, Ewok, a 5-year-old Cairn/Yorkie, and Lolli, a 1-year-old Maltese/Yorkie. She also has 2 cats; Olive, a 5-year-old DSH, and Coalby, a 4-year-old DSH. They were both rescues from her previous clinic in Ontario.

Jess has a passion for history and when not at work, she enjoys reading, dabbling in art, painting, digital drawing and Cricut crafts.

“I’m really enjoying my time here in BC! Such a change in pace and scenery compared to southern Ontario! The team and clients at CVH have been so welcoming, I look forward to working with you all for many years to come.”
