Re: Update on our Covid-19 protocols

 

Dear Clients:

As the Covid-19 situation goes on, our team here at the Castlegar Veterinary Hospital is taking things day by day and making adjustment to do what we can to assure the safety of our clients, our patients and our staff. 

In addition to the previous protocol changes that we address in the first e-mail we sent out, starting Monday March 30th, our hospital will have new office hours. We will be open Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Our office will now be closed on Wednesdays.  Our emergency services have not changed.

We will have less staff on the premises so please be patient if you are trying to call, as we have had a significant increase in our call volume.  And please be sure that your phone allows calls from blocked numbers, as it could be one of our Doctors or other staff trying to reach you.

As per the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association recommendations during the COVID-19 outbreak, we will not be offering boarding services at this time. Please be sure to make other arrangements if this will affect you. 

We have also been experiencing some delays in our inventory shipments.  If you are requiring refills on food and medication, please allow extra time by ordering sooner than you normally would.
